Over the past eighteen months, we have been on a journey that became more than renovating and rejuvenating our complex – we decided to reinvent ourselves. We wanted to start from scratch. To have beautiful spaces, amazing service and incredible food.
We commissioned specialist interior designers to make our location beautiful. We created quiet and personal spaces along with areas that are bold and fun. We have four unique eating areas with bespoke menus. If you’re looking for intimate dining or just a cafe style meal, we have amazing options.
To realise our goal of being a food driven destination we have appointed an Executive Chef, Ruben Koopman. Originally from Holland, Ruben has worked across Europe as well as in London at The Restaurant Marco Pierre White and in Oxford at Restaurant Le Manoir Aux Quat’ Saison with Raymond Blanc. Ruben then returned to Holland to Restaurant De Librije (where he was once an apprentice) to lead a team to earn a second and third Michelin star.
For the past six years, since arriving in Tasmania, Ruben has been an integral part of the executive team behind the hospitality experiences of Frogmore Creek Vineyard, The Lounge by Frogmore Creek and Frogmore in the City.
Ruben and his team have designed new menus for our restaurant “The Dining Room”, along with the Café/Bistro and the Lounge. We are proud to say that the quality of our food across all of our eateries, is exceptional. We invite you to experience food in a way like never before.
We decided to take our food to another level, but in the process, elevated to a whole new experience. We are serious about food!
